Active Fascia Manipulation
Structural integrated approach using various manual therapy techniques to address the underlying cause(s) of an issue, typically In combination with subtle movements and breath work. Massage Therapy, Dynamic Cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) may be utilized during an Active Fascia Manipulation session. Rolfing techniques may also utilized by Jed Page. Client is fully clothed in shorts and a tank top.
Personal Training
A scientific approach to training the entire fascial, muscular, and cardiovascular systems with focus on neuromuscular re-education and correct movement patterns. Mobility, stability, and strength will be addressed with careful attention to form. All ages and fitness levels welcome!
Monthly coaching plans also available.
Gait Training and Analysis
A video will be taken of you running outside and on the Trueform. Imbalances are then addressed with active fascia manipulation. Mobility/stability homework and technique tips are typically given. Applicable for all types of runners: high school track, cross country, triathletes, 5Ks-50ks, and beyond.
C-Section Scaring
Trauma from this surgery can extend far beyond the visible scar. Pelvic alignment, low back pain, hip pain, gait issues, pelvic floor issues, etc. Gentle work to melt the adhesions combined with neuromuscular retraining of the core and glutes can bring relief and function back to an integral part of the system.
Post Mastectomy Relief
PMPS (post mastectomy pain syndrome) can cause issues 1-10yrs after initial surgery therapy. At Fascia Lines gentle work is done on the entire torso including rib cage, shoulder girdle, neck, and arms. Scar tissue causes a gradual tightening of the shoulder girdle and rib cage causing alignment, breathing, and joint tracking issues throughout the body. This leads to rotator cuff tears and shoulder pain, neck pain, shallow breathing, numbness and tingling in the arms, trouble sleeping, back pain, hip pain, and diminished range of movement.
Combining tissue work with stretches and exercises helps guide the body while it heals or can help return it to neutral if it has long been disrupted. The client will also be taught ways to manage their mobility on their own. Trauma to the Fascial Matrix has system wide consequences and thus the entire body must be addressed after any surgery.
